My home theater setup. Samsung 52″ lcd. PS3 for blu-ray, Onkyo 7.1 receiver and paradigm speakers consisting of Monitor 11’s V.3, CC-170 center, ADP-350 Rears, ADP-170 Rears and PW2200 sub. Video taken with a sony handicam so pardon the quality.

Ok so im on the market for a new HDTV and i just need a little help and some suggestions this is what i know so far.

I want 52 inch
LCD
120 hz
24 bit

Now im huge into watching Football
I love video games (xbox 360)
I also love regular watching regular TV

What TV is best for my needs? Any suggestion?
Im not trying to go over $2,500 if there is something cheaper that is great im all for it.

I was always told to stick with the 3 S’s
Sony, Samsung, Sharp is that right?

I have a 52 inch lcd tv
no stand
i am thinking of buying a stand at best buy
says 48 inch tv stand that holds up to 300 pounds
my tv is 75 pounds
the stand says it will accomadate a 50 inch flat panel tv
mine is 52

other than a overhang on the sides
should it be ok?
this tv stand is marked down 80 dollars off
and if it can hold my tv i would rather have it.

All of the pro’s for LCD’s including less power consumption, no burn-in (even though this is virtually eliminated now in plasmas), less glare… are all superficial. The bottom line is that the best LCD’s have reviews that all say “look like plasma” because an average plasma has an equal if not better picture than top of the line LCD (like the A950 samsung) Most LCD’s have motion blur that plasma’s don’t or have much less of. I also understand that LCD’s are made in the 19-40 inch sizes but why are even the 52 inch LCD’s selling more than the 50 and 58 inch plasmas when they look worse and cost more?

The Tailgate Guy uses this RV with FOUR flatscreens. One is a 52″ LCD and it’s on the OUTSIDE wall. The Tailgate Guy tailgates in it and takes his family vacations with it. Very cool.

Well recently my dad bought a BRAVIA KDL -52W4100. Its a 52 inch LCD. Whenever I watch tv or play my PS2 its all blurry and you can see lines. Does anyone know how to fix this or what to do?
