I just recieved a 52 inch HDTV from someone who said that the problem with it is no picture. (It’s a Phillips HD Projection TV from 2002) Here’s what happens when I plug it in and turn it on: The screen lights up and everything comes up normal, sound and every thing. After about 2-3 seconds, the screen goes black, but the sound still works. I know nothing about Tv’s, but I would assume it has something to do with either the projector and/or the bulbs. What would be the most likely cause of this? Thanks

I have a 52 inch Samsung hdtv and am playing Xbox360 in 1080p mode and when I pay very close attention I can see some scalelines, is this possible is it just me? is there any way to fix this?

see, my mom and i bought a 52 inch plasma (1080p), hdtv at pc richards and sons. we have a comcast cable. we hooked up the tv and thats it. we viewed the hd channels, but i dont think its hd. i’ve heard some hd set up boxes, do we need to buy it? urgent pls help
