How much do you think my tv costs?

Hi I have a 52 inch Panasonic LCD projection tv that i bought for $2000 in summer of 2006. So the tv is 3 years old and works great. I also bought a stand for my tv which was $250. So now I live in a townhouse but im going to put it on rent and move to a apartment so i dont need a tv that big and i dont watch tv that much either. So im going to put the tv and stand for sale on craiglist and am not sure for a good price for me and the buyer. I was thinking in between $800-900. What do you think the price should be or is this a good price please tell? Thanks!!!

Why isn’t my LG TV working?

My new 52 inch LG LCD Television is having problems which are really angering me. I have cable coming out of a cable wall jack plugged into my TV. My sisters TV which is plugged into the same kind of jack gets DTV on her TV, however when i auto tune my television it does not get channels like 2-1 and 4-4??? Can anyone please explain why this is happening? maybe find a way for me to get these channels to work on my TV? knowing they work on either televisions without cable boxes. All answers are greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Tom
yes she is in the room next to mine and the jack runs to optimumand has the same package for the whole house both of our jacks run to our basement where they are connected and then run to the street then to the cable company,

Trying to decide on a receiver for a new system I am putting in. I have a 7.1 system (already have the speakers) but I have not yet purchased the receiver or tv. Trying to figure out what is necessary as a feature and what is not. Like, what is video-up conversion?

Also, Not really sure how many s-video, composite and HDMI inputs/outputs I need. How do you figure that out?

I plan on getting a 52 inch 1080p lcd tv, DVD player, Wii console, PS2. I don’t have a blueray or hd player yet but don’t want to exclude the possibility of using one if I want to.

What is better, LCD or Plasma?

I just bought a 52 inch Plasma Samsung (720p) Because I got a great price on the floor model but when I got it home and hooked it up to my satellite it looked really bad. I don’t have an HD box yet so I thought was the problem but It still looked bad with the Wii & Xbox. I wonder, Is the tv bad quality or is it just my set up. Should I take it back & get an LCD? I don’t really need such a big tv but I thought this was a good deal.
Note: I am a gamer & watch a lot of action movies. Which one has a better picture without motion blur? This one has a lot of motion issues.

ps3 40 gig or Sony Blu Ray Player?

i want to get a blu ray player…i have a 52 inch samsung LCD 1080p television….we just got the hd added to our cable package and it looks great…2 movies i was wanting to buy are i am legend and i robot on blu ray…i hear the blu ray looks great…i would rather have a sony blu ray player due to its my living room…but which should i go for..THANKS
I just keep hearing about how the blu ray players wont play the newer disks…if thats true i should wait…but i dont know thats why im asking lol

I need to know…Lcd or Plasma?

I’m in the market for a HD TV, in the 46-52 inch range after my bulls*** a** Vizio broke down just after 1 year. That was an LCD. Recently a friend recommended a Plasma because of what I use the television for. Im not the kinda guy who watches the Discovery Channel, the TV will mainly be on ESPN, hooked up to the PS3, or watching Blue-Ray movies. Let me know what you think that is within a reasonable price of around $1000-1800. Please don’t recommend a $4000 Pioneer TV, I’m not handling like that. Thanks

is plasma/lcd or led TV right for me?

i have just gone through a really tough year and i wanted to treat myself, so in the next 2 months im thinking of upgrading to a large flat screen tv, i have heard a lot of good things about plasma, lcd and led tvs but im still not sure what is the best tv for what im doing. here is what i know i want. i know i want a 47-52 inch screen, and 1080p, and 240 hz (although i have heard that doesnt matter for plasma)

most of what i watch on the tv is sports. i’d say 70% of what i watch is sports, 25% is regular cable tv, and the other 5% is movies and gaming…so i guess the most important thing to me is not a lot of blur and a crisp picture.

as far as price goes i really dont want to spend that much money, i know that LED is kind of expensive right now but is it really worth it? if its really that much better than plasma and LCD then i guess i can wait a few more months to save up the money for it, but if plasma or LCD is just as good for what im looking to do it might be better to save some money =)

also i usually have the tv on a lot throughout the entire day, it helps me sleep to have it on and makes me more productive when im doing homework for some reason lol. so if the amount that its used makes a difference keep that in mind.

i am only 15 and i save up 6,000 and want to build a home theater what do i need to hook every thing up

Top Plasma and LCD HDTVs that fit my price range?

I’m looking into buying a new HDTV this spring. I am still unsure whether to go with plasma or LCD because I’m not sure if it’s going in my well lit living room, or my dim basement. My price range is something in between 2000-3000$. Definitely not more than 3000$. Also, I’m looking into the 46-52 inch class for my TV. What would you say are the top plasma and LCD HDTVs that fit my price range?

I have already been looking into the Panasonics with THX mode and some Pioneers. You can include them in your list though.

Thanks a lot!
If you’re wondering, I’m going to connect it to my PS3 and a HDPVR cable box.
So is Samsung really one of the top TV manufacturers out there? I really didn’t know that.
