I bought the Platinum, it was the top of the ladder. Since then I’ve never used Cyberlink or WinDvd again. The HD sound and pic was very important to me. Also cyberlink loads extra useless stuff on startup and hijacks all media. Windvd has a nice picture but doesn’t have the HD sound. Go for the best at the moment … Arcsoft …… this is all my opinion Bert

I hope the rear projection screen works good for you…. I’ve had no luck with them. could never get the right resolution, like with you can with a lcd. Maybe they’ve made improvements on them. Have you ever hooked your computer up to one via the hdmi or dvi?

i’m replying to you through it via dvi to hdmi cable on my current 7600GS video card and the picture is the best realistic sharp and superp image i’ve seen so far compare to other LCD panels exept for the laservue by mitsubishi which is for USA region

though i had to resize the resolution to 1808×1004 from nvidia control panel to fit the whole screen and my TV model is : KS-70R200A

that’s what I am talking about, you had to resize it to fit your screen. try getting 1920 x 1080p. What is the native resolution for you screen? you maybe alble to fix it via your tv controls, some allow you to adjust automaically the screen resolution and aspect ration. the only projectionn screens that I’ve seen that work beautifully are the ones that you need a wall screen, but they are costly. if you ever buy another screen make sure it has a native resolution of 1920 x 1080p and 120hz.

BUT BEHOLD MY NEXT SCREEN UPGRADE :
Philips Quad Full Autosteroscopic 3D HDTV and it’s GLASSES-FREE 3D DISPLAY so won’t have to look like a child with glasses when you watch movies or hardcore games on top of that the resolution is 3840×2160p and they run about $25000 in some reviews .

so i’m gonna start feeding my piggy banks until the big sacrificial day

If you’re using an HDMI cable to output the sound, you’re not using the great DACs of that soundcard.

Well to tell you it sounds so much cleaner then using analogue, My amp registers 96khz, and I’m so happy with the output. Since this video I’ve upgraded to windows 7 and have the full meal deal from the card.
