Accell Ultraav Hdmi
Are there really any differences with monster HDMI cables vs. cheaper HDMI cables.?
I have a Accell UltraAV HDMI cable, and I was wondering if this is any good? I use these cables for my PS3/Bluray Movies, Xbox 360, and my Cable via my Onkyo 606 receiver. If these are not good hdmi cables, which ones should i get? I’m hoping to get the best quality without breaking my wallet.

I was qualified to sell Monster products when I finished my RadioShack training. Yes, higher standards are used during cable construction. Is the human eye able to detect differences between Monster and generic versions? Usually not.
If the cable is long (over 12 feet), generic versions risk degrading the signal to the point where it can be noticed on a large (over 32″) screen.
Silver tipped cables generally perform better than gold tipped cables, but companies tip cables gold so they can sell it for more. Monster cables over 50 feet are some of the only cables using silver tips.
