well obviously the Component video output and optical audio output is the better one but of course to use that you need a sound system that can accept an optical audio input and a TV with a component input (most LCDs and plasmas do as well as the occasional CRT TV)
The Component AV cabale and 2.1 surround sound is just a ordinary component video output with stereo output…they just say 2.1 cos it makes it sound better…all stereo output is 2.1 if you have a 2.1 sound system
