Cable Adapter Coax
I have an old TV that only has a single coax jack & want to hook up VCR, etc. What kind of adapter do I need?
I know there’s an adapter available (I’ve seen them at K-Mart, Radio Shack, etc.) where one end connects to a single cable input jack on older TV’s and the other ends have regular Audio/Video inputs like most current TV’s & VCR’s. I just can’t remember what these type of adapters are called. Please help!
They’re called RF adaptors or RF modulators, If you have more than one device you’re hooking up, you could go with a video selector, it will have multiple plug-ins and some of the models (more expensive ones) will also have an RF modulator built into it. For an RF adaptor you’re looking at about $20, for the video selector $20-40
