personally i think you should get a dark stained wood stand that matches the stain of the sofa legs. because the visual weight of glass is light and the sofa gives this solid and heavy feeling, so putting the two together will make the room seem off balanced. the wood stand will help to balance the visual weight of the room. the color of the drape is beautiful, it looks light weighted visually too, you might want to add solid patterned drapery and combine the purple one you have. this way you get layers, colors and balanced visual weight.
