Digital Coaxial Rca
5.1 digital optical or coaxial to analog RCA’s?
cant find a converter that can take a digital source like optical or coaxial and converts it to analog RCA’s (6 of them – sub, center, front left, front right, surround left, surround right) i have only found one that convert only the 2 front channels.
i have a surround sound sysytem that only matches up to the dvd player that came with it “now broken” and it does so by 6 RCA inputs as said before. and the only dvd player that can do that is the like 500 dvd / cd player which is to expensive for my purpose. so i need somthing that can take a 5.1 source an dconvert it to RCA.
Digital will give you more information through the connection, but I like the analog connection because there is more of a full and relaxed presentation that digital lacks. Kind of like comparing CD to Vinyl.
