Extension Cable Dvd
My DVD wont work with my Viera TV. Help!?
Hi I have a new TV with Viera but my DVD is old & a diff make. It worked well with my old TV.
I think I have got the right cables. I brought a HD-MI Cable for TV with RCA on end for DVD player. (connected to a 3 TO 3 RCA Extension Adapter, Then a RCA cable on one end & a S Video on other end for DVD player.)
I turned on my DVD player to play on AV, AV1 but nothing happening on TV.
What have I done wrong or missing?
Viera is all new to me so please help. Do I have to tune it in?

A scart lead sticks out too much & is in the way of the TV wall stand, so wont sit on the shelf well.

Just tried with Scart lead and it works, but as I said its in the way of TV stand. Why does it not work with HD-MI to TV & RCA to DVD?
try using a scaret lead instead of the hdmi it might work and also try AV2
