Few days before the Indian press reported Barack Obama the Democrats Candidate for US Presidential polls is a Hanuman devotee and carries with him a locket of the monkey god along with other good luck charms. This report attracted the enthusiasm of the Indian Hindu idol worshipers they went one step forward to send him a symbol of his luck the monkey god. On last week Obama’s representative Carolyn Sauvage-Mar (Chairperson of Democrats Abroad-India) received a gold-plated two feet high idol which she will pass it on to Obama after it is sanctified. “Obama has deep faith in Lord Hanuman and that is why we are presenting an idol of Hanuman to him” said All India Congress Committee member Brijmohan Bhama who was one of the main organizers of the Idol presenting function. This arise a lot of questions like what is Obama’s religious belief? Is he is an idol worshiper? Anyway Obama is in a run-up for the top post in Holy fathers Land. May Heaven be graceful upon that land……
