Female Audio Adapter
Will 1/4 female to 3.5mm male adapter work with Mac and Microphone?
If I plug in the adapter type said above into my mac, and then any 1/4 capable microphone into the mac via the Line In port on my macbook pro, will i be able to record audio using the mic in garageband?
Yes it will (that was partly why it was designed for)
(Oviosuly you have a microphone with a 1/4 inch male extension)
Just make sure you select that device in your sound area of your mac pro (if it has’nt already automatically done so:)
