Female Monitor Adapter
how do you get sound from your ps3 when your connecting it to your monitor?
I decided to connect my ps3 to my monitor but wanted to know how to get the audio, I don’t use speakers I use earphones. Do i still need to get a 3.5mm audio adapter and 3.5mm female to female plug and since I don’t use speakers don’t know where to plug it in.

You will need:
-HDMI to DVI chord(HDMI to VGA will not work, sorry)
-You will need your 3.5mm audio adapter
-Also you will need the 3.5mm female to female plug, that you suggested.
Plug the female to female plugin into the 3.5mm audio adapter. You should now have 1 piece.
Then plug the red audio into the red, of course, and the white audio into the the white.
Now, if your earphone jack is on your monitor, plug the audio adapter into that jack.
Your female to female adapter should still be connected to the 3.5mm audio adapter.
Finally, you can plug your earphones into the female to female adapter.
If the above information does not work, I would suggeset buying a pair of cheap speakers. The sound quality will not be as good with earphones anyway.
