Breeze Cat Litter System Help?
Okay, so recently my parents got a new litter box system for our two cats, since the first one wasnt working out. We got the Breeze litter system. ONLY ANSWER THE QUESTION IF YOU KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT!
So our cats have been using it, and we have been changing the pee-pads just fine. Butwhen they go number 2, it clumps together with the pellets that are in the litter box. So what we have been doing is using the old containers that the litter from our previous litter box was sold in, to hold the poop.
Thing is, after a couple days, mold starts growing in the box, and A lot of it. It smells terrible, and I know it cant be healthy.
So what I’m asking is, what should we do with the poop as opposed to what we have been doing, since we cant flush it down the toilet, for a reason I don’t know.
Please Help!
Bag it, tie it up tight and throw it in the trash bin.
I would consider switching. If you use the “World’s Best Cat Litter” (http://www.worldsbestcatlitter.com) it’s flushable and that solves your problem.
We have seven cats and therefore four litter boxes, which ends up wasting a LOT of plastic bags if we bag & toss every time. We have something called a Litter Locker (http://www.litterlocker.com/en/products/litterlocker2.html) which we scoop the litter into and it locks in any odour until we fill it up and toss it out.
