Headphone Jack?
What part of the headphone jack(the plug) actually has music transferred from it to the earbuds/headphones? Is it the metal part of the 2 colored bands? If it’s the metal, then which (2) parts of the 3 metal parts?
Is it hollow?
The tip of one came a little bent, preventing music to be heard from the left and the right when fully-plugged in.

it is the metal part. the colored bands are insulators. The tip is the left channel, the middle is the right, and the bottom is the ground (completes the circuit for both channels).
You need all 3 to work. It is not hollow. There are bands of metal separated by the insulation rings where each band breaks off to it’s own layer on the jack.
If you like your headphones, you can replace the jack by cutting it off and rewiring a new one. If you don’t know how or the headhpones aren’t expensive, you can buy a new pair.
