Hooking Sony Plasma To Watch Tv
PC to Plasma problems…?
I’m trying to connect my PC to my Plasma tv to use as a second monitor….
I have a Sony Vaio that I use for video editing, 3D animation, and gaming.
It connects to my current monitor via a DVI-D and an HD 15 connection.
I have a tv tuner card so I can watch tv on my current monitor.
I know how to connect the pc to tv to watch tv but what I want to do is use the Plasma as a monitor to view my desktop…
It’s not as simple as hooking up svideo or component cables…because I’ve tried and failed.
Do I need to get a pc to tv HD converter or is there another method that I’m not aware of?
Nope…I can’t connect the pc to plasma via dvi…there’s no dvi input on my tv.
you have to use the DVI to connect with DVI on your TV in order to use it as monitor. that is the only way.
