How To Install Wall Mount Plasma Tv
can someone tell me how i can safely take down a wall mounted plasma television?
the tv was installed last year. now i need to add some additional cables (hdmi etc.) which i know i can do myself. i am just concerned that i will drop my television. the intructions for the wall bracket don’t actually indicate how to take the tv off and/or put it n the wall. stores are charging over $200 for something that i am told takes thirty seconds to complete.
My wall bracket has a sliding lock bar to prevent the TV from being accidentally knocked off the wall, once you slide it out, the TV is then lifted up and away from the wall toward you. My first plasma was a 37″ and I mounted it myself and when I replaced it with a 42″, I got it off the wall myself, but I would never attempt to do it with anything larger on my own, as apart from the weight of it, it is also awkward to balance it correctly when removing or mounting.
