repair a tv audio cable?
One of the stereo jacks in the back of my tv went out so now it’s only mono, I want to fix it. If I wear gloves and open up the back of the tv to sauder the wire, will I get shocked? is there a way to do this safely?
Don’t go there. Your question demonstrates that such work is not among your skills (that’s okay; I’m sure you have others).
For example, what does “went out” mean? The jack is physically damaged? The jack is okay, but you get no audio output from the left or right channel? It makes a big difference.
In any case, leave this job to someone experienced in electronic repair with the right tools and know-how.
