Does anyone have a Zenith 42 in. (Diagonal) Class Plasma HD Television?
I am thinking of purchasing one because the price is great and I have had good luck with my Zenith tube tv……it is starting to die after 11 years, so that is why I am looking for a new tv for the living room. Some people tell me to get a plasma, some tell me to get an LCD. I am so confused! I had thought about getting a Sony Bravia 40″, but it got some bad reviews. The Zenith had all great reviews. I have Comcast HD digital cable on my 32″ Panasonic LCD tv in the bedroom and digital cable on the tube tv in the living room. Taking suggestions….thanks!
Get another friend for your Panasonic LCD and pick up a Panasonic plasma. Zenith don’t make their own plasma’s, they’re relying on other manufacturers. You should go to the source.

Unless you’re watching Blu-ray Discs from @ 5ft away, you won’t notice much of a difference with broadcast HD cable between 720p and 1080p, so if you need to save a bit of money I wouldn’t hesitate to order one of the 720p models.
Native panel resolution is 4th or 5th down the list of importance behind black levels, contrast ratio, greyscale, motion resolution.
