Panasonic Plasma Tv Picture Display Monitor
Using TV as monitor, getting blurred picture? Why?
I have hooked up a desktop computer to a flat screen HD plasma (Panasonic HD-AVI) TV and the picture is blurry. You can see it fine, but reading smaller print is impossible; I know it can be better. Makes our presentations and software trainings horrible! Also, when going online, the picture is still blurred.
I have tried to adjust some settings in the Control Panel/Display/Settings – Advanced, but some simple changes make the picture so bad, I can hardly find the box to click on “Do not accept changes”.
Any suggestions? It’s an HP standard desktop, not too fancy, but no older than 1 1/2 yr.
I am thinking we do not have the correct cable box for HD, but do I need that for a computer projection to look clear?
Thanks!!!!
My guess is you’re using an S cable or composite cable. Then you’re only getting 480 resolution, and your desktop will be unreadable.
You need to connect with HDMI, DVI, VGA or component cables. If your computer doesn’t have any of these connectors, then you’ll have to upgrade the video board to add them. Of course you do probably have the VGA connector, but your TV might not. If both do, then all you need is a male to male VGA cable.
