		<description>You should be sure the tv isn&#039;t set to it&#039;s highest, brightest setting as that can cause eye strain.  Usually a mid point on brightness and backlighting is best.  Also some tvs have a few picture settings, like dynamic, standard or movie.  Keeping it at the mid setting is better too, for the tv and for the eyes.

And in a very dark room, a soft light either behind the tv or somewhere in the room can help keep eyes more relaxed.

The tv itself shouldn&#039;t be a problem, just excessive brightness.</description>
