Can playing a lot of video games mess up a LCD Flat Screen?

i Just Recently bought a 52 inch LCD flat screen and i was wondering if playing too much can damage the screen

that is just silly, if that were the case then they would have a warning somewhere stating “warning! use of this LCD may cause damage to the LCD!”
i don’t think there is problem as long as ou don’t touch the screen…
Ive had my 32″ Sharp LCD flat screen since november and i play mw2 on it flat out. it can drag the pictures when played for to long but other than that it has been perfect. I also hear that LCD’s are prone to after burning. (still image burnt into screen)

It’s not going to hurt the screen. A lot of older plasma TV’s got something called “burn in” which is when something displayed on the screen for a long time got burned into the screen from the gasses, but even that’s been mostly resolved now. It certainly won’t happen with an LCD.
Here’s an article explaining it in further detail. Keep in mind that the info is a little dated, developments over the last few years have caused LCD tvs to be better and cheaper than plasma tvs. The basic info is the same however.
