Why is my LCD so blurry?

Well recently my dad bought a BRAVIA KDL -52W4100. Its a 52 inch LCD. Whenever I watch tv or play my PS2 its all blurry and you can see lines. Does anyone know how to fix this or what to do?

That’s a big TV and if you watch analog cable or standard-def video (as from the PS2) it will look bad.
You need at minimum a digital video source (Off-the-air antenna, digital cable, or satellite or DVD player).
For the best picture, you need an HD source (HDTV or Blu-ray)
You need to use component or HDMI cables.
