RCA to Component video?
I’m trying to play my PS2 console on a computer monitor. This monitor has a VGA, DVI, and HDMI input. I recently purchased a cable that plugs into the VGA port of the monitor and has female component video plugs, (The red, green, and blue ones). I’m trying to plug my PS2′s RCA(Red, yellow, white) cables into this but nothing I try gets video. Is this possible? thanks
A component to VGA cable is supposed to be used with component video, not composite. Connect a Playstation component AV cable to the PS2, and then connect that cable to the component/VGA adapter.
