can you connect HDMI cables to a DVD/vcr recorder if your tv does not support HDMI?
sorry if that doesn’t make sense, but I’m asking it for someone else, and I don’t understand it
What is your friend trying to do? How would you connect HDMI if your tv doesn’t support HDMI? If the tv has component video (blue, green, red) connections then I’d use that instead.
If, however you are trying to use HDMI as an input into the dvd/vcr recorder and then use component, s-video or composite out to the tv then I have to say that you won’t be able to do that. Why not? Because dvd/vcr recorders do not have HDMI inputs, only outputs. The reasoning behind this is due to the restrictions on HDMI.
