which dvd recorder is the best?
I want a unit to use with as a home entertainment addition in order to convert 8mm tapes to DVD, and a good progressive scan player as well. The television is a HD DLP Samsung 61″ unit, so I’d like a really good quality player that records pretty decent as well. Thanks for the help!
we have a Pioneer DVR-210. It will control playback on a DV camcorder, not sure about Hi8 – maybe pickup a cheap digital 8 camera so you can transfer video via firewire.
If you have a HD tv, maybe wait a year and see if a Blu-Ray DVD recorder comes out.
