Stranded Copper Antenna
How do I convert rooftop antenna with 2 old twin wires to coax for booster box connection absent U terminals?
Each old, flat wire has two sets of copper strands inside the insulation. I have to strip the insulation for access to the wire itself. Can I replace it entirely with coaxial cable from the UHF and VHF parts of the roof antenna? If not, how do I connect all 4 of those copper strands to the U connectors that came with the antenna-mounted part of my new booster? Thanks
This is what you need to go from 300 ohm twin lead to 75 ohm coax. Radio shack will also have them.
