I had a samsung 1080i tv…set my ps3 up on it and everything went smooth and fine….i just got a new 52 inch samsung 1080p tv both are LCDs…well when i put a game in it says mode not supported and takes a minute then the game plays…it was doing a popping noise around this time also…

Any idea what the problem could be…And what i should do.
theres 2 hdmi ports on my tv…i got it in the upper port
and i have all the resolutions checked in the boxes…but it says my ps3 is set to 1080p which is what the ps3 found automatic because my tv is 1080p….but all the boxes are checked also.

Any ideas?? i give all the points to anyone that can help me get the ps3 the way it was on my old tv back to my new tv

I’m thinking of upgrading my 32 inch Dynex tube tv for an RCA 52 inch HD projection tv…WOULD THAT BE A GOOD DECISION?? I have no idea what a projection tv is??? Does it project on your wall?? How exactly does it work???? what are the pros & cons???? The only reason why I am looking @ this type of tv is b/c my neighbor just bought a new LCD tv is selling his & he said he would give it to me for $250…( he told me a lil about it but I need REAL ANSWERS!)I just don’t have a clue about these tv’s and I need people’s advice and if you have one that would be even better if you could tell me about them & if you love or hate it. im looking at plazma vs lcd vs dlp i need help in understanding which is the best. size 42-52 inch for hdtv and gaming. what is the differance 1080p-1080i-720p-720i is the 1080 vs 720 differance so great it costs almost a grand more for the same size

Im debating on buying one of these 2 LCD TV’s but I cant make a decision, the First one is 52″ (6 inches larger) and comes with a 4 year best buy warantee. But does not have a ethernet hookup for tv integrated internet programs.. It also has a Dynamic contrast ratio of 10,000:1 Here is the link:

The second one is a 46″ which is newer comes with ethernet hookup for internet programs such as youtube and can also access home network… it has a dynamic ratio of 150,000:1 which is much higher than the first one..

The price difference: The first one would cost me $950 and the second one (smaller one) would cost me $1250. Here is the link to the second one:

Hello. I need some help. I have a Sony KDL-52Z5100 (52 Inch, 1080p, 240hz w/ Motionflow, LCD) TV. I had Comcast as my cable TV provider but noticed that they do not have that many HD channels for the money you pay, and that their HD channels are not that great in display quality. So I switched to DishNetwork and now I have much more HD channels and the HD channels look a lot better in quality….BUT….I’m wondering if there is a way to enhance the display of HD in my TV to look better? I’m sure that my TV can show better/crisper quality on the HD channels from my satellite provider. Is there a way to do this? Don’t get me wrong, the HD channels from Dish look good on my TV, but when I pop a blu-ray in it’s like night and day! I’ve looked for display tweaks for my TV on google, but can’t find any yet.

Need help in trying to connect my hdtv to the items below. I would like to get surround sound working on everything.
Currently right now i have connected all 3 hdmi cables connected to each device. dvd player to hdtv, saltellite receiver to hdtv, and ps3 to hdtv.
One problem i have already encountered when i turn on the dvd player the sound cuts off of the hdtv when im watching satellite tv.
When i turn off dvd player the sound comes back on. Havent even touched the ps3 yet. Can someone help me with this or tell me what im doing wrong.

hi ok i brought a 52 inch lcd tv 2 days ago and wanted to see if hd would work on the xbox 360 so i read what colour av cable i had to put in to i put the green cable to the green socket then blue then red and so on but when i put my xbox on it didnt work so then i changed the green cable and the blue cable and swaped them then my xbox start to work think that worries me is wasnt the green supposed to go in the green hole and the blue goes in the blue hole can anyone hlp me for using my xbox on hd and can you tell me what to do
