ok. here’s my dilemma. I just bought a 60 hz 52in samsung lcd tv for my room. it cost $1800. i bought a big tv because my room is huge. i didnt really understand the meaning of the 60 hz and 120 hz. Then my parents bought a 47in 120 hz LG lcd for $1000. I can tell a huge difforence between the picture when watching TV. I also bought a PS3 and i cant really tell a big difforence between the picture of the two TVs. My parents offered to trade TVs with me. Im not sure on if i should do it quite yet. im leaning more on the trading side but i want to know if thats stupid. i payed $800 more for mine and its 5 inches bigger, but theirs is 120 hz. Should I? and sorry for making this so long. im also thinking about buying an HDMI cable.

We are looking to spend approximately $1500 on a new LCD television. Preferably, we would like to have a 52″ with 1080p and a high contrast ratio. Any suggestions for specific television brands, models and places to purchase will be much appreciated.
Thank you

I do not know if I should opt for a smaller TV to get the 120 hz, is the 120 really worth it is the main question. We don’t watch sports so does it matter if we only get the 60hz in the 52 lcd?

I dont know a lot about tv’s but I am wondering what would be the best lcd hdtv for around $600. I am definitely concerned with image quality and sound clarity, but my main concern is the video lag. my 52 inch tv in my den has a lag when scrolling with IO digital cable. from what i understand, some tv’s have that problem and some dont (not sure the cause myself). anyway my main question is what is my best bet for a lcd hdtv for around $600. i am an avid video game player and movie watcher so a reliable and clear tv is what i am looking for. eventually i plan on getting a blu ray player as well.

Im getting a Sony Bravia LCD high def tv. The 52″ will cost $4000 with tax, the 46..around $3000. Is the extra 6 inches that noticeable, does it make it all that much worth it? Please let me know in your experience
