Usb Network Adapter
Will I be able to access the internet on both my PS3 and PC if I use a router, USB Network Adapter, and PS3?
The question basically says it all, but will I be able to set up my router, add a USB network adapter to my PC, and connect to the internet via my PS3?
I use a Desktop, NOT a laptop.
Say what? Doesn’t your PC have a LAN card? Why would it need a usb network adapter?
Anyhow, if it does need a usb network adapter, yes, of course it will work. That is what routers are for, connecting more than one device to a single internet connection. It’s best to have a DHCP connection as opposed to static, you probably already have dhcp.
Through my router I can start my ps3 under linux and use it to record 2d games on my pc. Stupid! But it can be done.
