Vizio 42 Hdtv Plasma Tv
Playstation 2 via component cables showing in black and white?
I just recently bought a new HDTV (42″ plasma Vizio) and, when my PS2 is connected to it through the component connections (I have Sony component cables for it), it only shows in black and white. The settings on the PS2 all seem to be correct, and I’m yet to find a way to change any settings on the TV.
What gives?
Try if your TV has a S-Video mode. This only means your TV is interpretting the signals differently. Check what your manufacturer’s guide says. I had the same problem and later figured out the TV had different modes like S-Video, VGA, etc.
