Way Speaker Selector
PC 3.5mm 5.1 surround headphones/speakers selector?
Hi, I have a 5.1 surround headset that connects with 4 3.5mm cable (mike included) to my sound card. Thing is I also have a 5.1 surround speaker system that I use when no one’s around or people don’t mind the noise.
I want to use both… right now I have to unplug one and plug the other and I sometimes have to restart for vista to understand what’s happening (have vista for gaming)
I have been searching for a way to have both plugged at the same time and have a simple selector to choose which one I use…. didn’t find one anywhere. HELP?!

. I’ve never seen a 3×3.5mm plug selector (selector for 5.1 surround on a computer….)
The computer detects the changes to what is connected.
Even if you have a selector it will do the same thing.
You need to turn off you sound card’s port detection
so that it is always on.
Check out the options on the surround sound panel for your
sound chip or card, there should be an option.
